Richard Higham from Albany, Auckland, New Zealand, paints exquisitely
rendered New Zealand bush and foliage acrylic on canvas. Born in
Auckland 1957, Richard's interest and participation in art started from
an early age. After completing secondary school, Richard chose
Architecture to study and graduated with a B(Arch) from Auckland
University in 1984. While working as an Architect and since leaving
Architecture in 2002, Richard has continued to develop his interest in
drawing and painting.
Over the last 15 years Richard has exhibited individual works in local
art awards and members' shows. In October 2012 he put together a
substantial body of work for his first solo show at Northart, Auckland.
Richard's vision is to be a top New Zealand landscape painter.
