Aimi Rix's Unique Work at bGallery

Image
Aimi's artistic influences came early on in life, my God father, Peter Deighan being an up and coming artist at that time had supplied a vast collection for her family, portraits and still life’s, he became very successful and is still one of her biggest inspirations.
Influences came fast and furious through her life, Rolf Harris being another early example, those huge paintings he did on stage without error even as an adult that is impressive.
Van Gogh showed her that magic can be in any mundane object, that the artist creates the beauty.
Banksi inspires her to be boundless and that political statements are welcomed into modern society.
The working mind of DaVinci, the complexity and genius that went into every painting or invention he created.
Salvador Dali, not only an artist but a rich artist, a man who could make more than a comfortable living form the creation of his own hands and mind.
Lucy Rix is her sister and co artist, always pushing her to up the bar a little. Check out her website too she is excellent. www.lucyrixartist.co.uk
Aimi knew by age 7 that she wanted more than anything to be an artist. She is a  self taught as she didn't pursue art as career or take it in further education due to becoming a mother immediately after leaving high school. After 25 years of listening to naysayer’s and sceptics she finally decided to be brave, sell her business and buy enough art supplies to create a collection, Aimi hopes you enjoy it.
bgallery are in awe of Aimi Rix and her passion and enthusiasm shines through with each piece she produces.

AMVO designs encapsulates all of Alison’s current design and artwork products, including her beautiful handmade personalised guest memory books for any special occasion ‘1 day 2 remember’ and her exhibition ‘sample’ and ‘bespoke’ hand painted canvas wall art.
Currently living in Letchworth Garden City,  Hertfordshire, Alison Orton is a self taught artist who regards each and every piece of work as a great challenge and a labour of love. Her interior design skills and experience are a combination of natural flair and ability from an early age, to obtaining a City & Guilds certificate in Design and Craft.
Alison’s wall art is mainly abstract in style. She uses quality stretched canvases and the finest acrylic paints, texturing media and embellishments. When working on commission pieces, it is not just the wall that the artwork is going to be hung on that is important to her. She regards the whole room as her canvas and is able to plan spaces effectively for the function of the room and harmonise light, colours and textures.
Alison Orton can be contacted for commission/bespoke work

Artist Kathy Foster

Oil Paintings by Kathy Foster

Kathy gained a degree in Fine Art in 2004 and since then has been producing figurative and semi-abstract oil paintings with the theme of our impact on our environment and on those things that are part of it. It is the visual appearance of our human traces that inspires my paintings, inviting reflection on human transience as well as that of the world itself.
A rich source of inspiration comes from ordinary places and everyday objects that may be overlooked, worn or discarded. Subjects include dwellings, old shoes, books, chairs, fences and plastic bags and bottles that parallel human transience, in the sense that they reveal a life ‘lived’ and continuing. Her current theme is the transient beauty of a rose especially when its beauty is fading.
Each painting is a new journey, dictated by her response to the subject. The experimental and accidental are important factors in my work.

Julie Coe - www.jcoephotography.com

My name is Julie Coe and I have always been passionate about photography. My first passion was for macro and I still love taking macro shots of insects and flowers. These days, I have found a new love of working with tones and textures on my images to give them more of an art look and feel and to be a bit different from the normal photographic shot.
Other sizes and formats of my images are available on request.
