"Art is jealous: it demands an artist to give all of himself"
Michelangelo Buonarroti
Born into a family of artists and architects, Natalia Avdeeva was destined to become a painter. Starting at the age of six, her apprenticeship and journey of discovery led to her present style; dramatic realism.
As a child growing up in the beautiful mountainous region of Altai, Natalia benefited from the majestic landscapes of her native land.
Excelling in art school, she dedicated herself to the pursuit of excellence, beginning to sell drawings and paintings at the age of eighteen. After graduating from art school, Natalia visited the United States, where she taught Art. For the last 6 years she has been studying and working in London. Although competent in a wide range of subjects, she has concentrated mainly on London Views and Portraiture and her classical but dramatic artwork is much appreciated by collectors.
Natalia is currently exhibiting at the Chelsea Framers Gallery on the Kings road, London and in the group exhibition ‘Still Life’ in Gallery 286 in Earls Court, London.
