Edward is a landscape painter who paints in both oils and watercolour. He likes to paint scenes by the River Thames or cityscapes near where he lives in SW London.
He is a retired Chartered Engineer who took up painting in the 1990s and trained at local art schools in Richmond, Putney and Chelsea. He regularly exhibits at local art exhibitions in SW London and at the b Gallery in Toddington. His paintings are popular - being part-traditional, part-contemporary.
In 2011 he aims to try some different styles and to experiment with acrylic paints in addition to oils and watercolour. But he will continue to paint his figurative landscapes – usually en plein air – as well.
