Social Networking: How important this has become in art marketing

This new trend is fast becoming a valuable tool for visual artists to network amongst themselves, galleries and their customers. Artists are using social networking to talk with each other, and to show their work to their customers and many are showing work even before it is finished, getting important feedback/comments as the work progresses. Being a fine artist can be an isolating job, but this instant audience participation is changing that.
b Gallery would urge all artists to join these social networking sites ie: facebook, twitter etc., join us and other artists –

Good news for everyone exhibiting at b Gallery - Toddington
The excitement surrounding the Royal Wedding this year and together with the exceptionally good weather, has had a positive impact on our sales this month (April). We hope it’s a sign that things for the economy in general are looking up.

A special well done to new Member Andrea Leila Brown, whose stunning collection of mosaic art includes ones using Royal memorabilia, congratulations to her for making a lovely sale within just a few days of joining. Well done!

Andrea’s talented friend and fellow Member, Kanta Bhasin inspired her to create mosaic art.

Spring Gala

It was lovely to see so many of you at our recent Gala. It was a beautiful sunny day and, along with the stall holders set up on the village green opposite, made for an enjoyable event at the Toddington Spring Festival.

Visitors were treated to fun interactive workshop tasters, History of Art talks, artist demos, complementary wine from our two lovely hostesses (thank you Hayley and Georgina!) Easter eggs for the children and a free prize draw......
